Father's Day

Did you ever feel so lucky in life that you felt like you should just go ahead and pinch yourself?

I love seeing Facebook Father's Day posts. I love reading what makes your dads so special. Father's Day is so underrated. Mother's day is HYPED UP! As it should be, moms are pretty awesome!! BUT so are dads!! I will admit that it's hard to figure out what to buy a dad -- what do they really want? A tie? Probably not. Do they need more sports equipment or car parts? Nope! {They'll buy it themselves anyway}. A gift card to Lowes or Home Depot? lol. If you've thought of a great idea PLEASE feel free to post it below!!

My husband is one of the hardest workers I know. {I know I always say that}...It's totally true. I'm so thankful for that. I am so thankful that my boys have a strong role model to look up to. One that works so hard, knows how to work a grill, fixes the cars, mows the lawn but still knows how to help his wife clean up in the kitchen. One that is patient when the boys want to "help" or plays on the playground with them even though he's too big to fit in the tube slide! One that holds their hand, helps them pick out groceries and plays goofy games with them when mommy is tired.

I know a lot of your dads do these things to. We appreciate you dads...we truly do!

Happy Father's Day to new dads, granddads, dads of multiple children, dads who have lost, uncles who have stepped in to be dads, foster and adoptive dads, brothers, great grandfathers, fathers of grown children, moms who have played both dad and mom, single dads, step-dads and anyone I have forgotten! We love you!!
