Newborn Mila - Berks County Newborn Photographer

This sweetheart rounded out a string of beautiful, sleepy newborn girls that have visited my studio for their newborn portraits in the past couple weeks. I love dark wood, neutrals and pinks so this was a perfect session. This little one was such a doll.

BEHIND THE SCENES -

My trick to get these babies so sleepy is to use a jersey fabric from JoAnne's and wrap them tight underneath and use a pretty layer overtop. My favorite place to buy pretty wraps is CLOTH APOTHECARY. They are so soft, easy to wash and come in a variety of colors!

Another trick is to keep the studio at about 80 degrees and I use a white noise machine from Amazon. We bought it years ago for the boys and even traveled with it when we went to the beach. Both are invaluable.

I wish I could remember where the headbands came from, but tip is to look for newborn prop headbands on Etsy. It'll bypass a lot of the gigantic headbands you buy at typically stores and get you headbands that are tiny and delicate for those sweet girls.

Hope those tips and tricks help!

XOXO - Danielle
